Description

An independent course in which a student works for a defined period of time on a weekly basis as an intern in a public or private institution or agency related to or concerned with the study, preservation, and presentation of art and architecture. The course permits the student to develop and undertake research related to the specific requirements and duties of the internship while under the supervision of both the on-site internship supervisor and an art department faculty member sponsor. Evaluation of the student will be based on a report from the internship supervisor on the student’s work and a research project submitted by the student to the faculty member sponsor.
