Basic axioms of set theory, algebra of sets, relations and functions, orders, countable and uncountable sets, and additional topics at the discretion of the instructor. The course will introduce some basic proof techniques, with no background in proof-writing assumed. Not open to students who are taking or have received credit for MATH 209 or 609. This course may not be credited towards the Masters of Arts degree in Mathematics.
