This course is designed to familiarize students with principles and procedures of behavioral assessment and intervention. Major emphases are placed on the observation, recording, analysis, and modification of children's behaviors in school and other related settings. Applications of behavioral techniques in treating different disorders are also covered. In addition, students are prepared to serve as behavioral consultants to school and mental health personnel.
