This course is designed to give educational leadership candidates interested in improving classroom instruction and school administration greater insight into the nature of action research in the field of education. The course emphasizes the view that action research is an inquiry process that is school and classroom-based and tied to professional development. Practitioner-researchers are most capable of generating new knowledge about teaching practice through this inquiry process.
