Career Development and Assessment

This course will introduce students to the theories and practice of career counseling throughout the lifespan, the administration and interpretation of selected inventories, available career resources, and the ethical and practice standards in the field. As part of this course, issues related to working with diverse populations, (gender, race, culture and sexual orientation) will be explored. Field-based hours outside the classroom are required to administer career assessment instruments.
