Student Teaching in Visual Arts II

Description

This is a clinical experience for art education students. Students are expected to complete a minimum of 240 hr., 3–4 periods of daily participation or its equivalent for 15 weeks in a secondary school setting. The seminar course is for MAT and Post-Baccalaureate teacher candidates and prepares them to teach visual arts in public schools. Students are expected to prepare daily lesson plans, teach regularly, and will develop and maintain student teaching portfolios.
