Teaching Science and Technology to Middle Childhood and Adolescent Students

This course explores curriculum development, teaching methods, and assessment strategies for science classrooms, aligning with New York State and NGSS standards. It builds on the foundational understanding of how middle childhood and adolescent students learn and develop across physical, cognitive, social, and emotional domains (covered in SEYS 562). Taken as a corequisite with student teaching, this course helps future teachers apply curriculum, instruction, and assessment knowledge in real-world classrooms.
