Student Teaching in Visual Arts I

This is the initial clinical experience for art education students. Students are expected to complete a minimum of 100 hrs. total - 10 hours a week for 10 weeks in an elementary school setting. The seminar course is for MAT and Post-Baccalaureate teacher candidates and prepares them to teach Visual Arts in public schools. Students are expected to prepare daily lesson plans, teach regularly, and will develop and maintain student teaching portfolios.
