Human-Computer Interaction

Introduces students to the fundamental principles of human-computer interaction (HCI) with a strong focus on understanding the nature of how people interact with, or avoid, computer technology; the problems they encounter in these interactions, and the design principles that address the tactics used in making computers more usable and effective to a wide variety of people, including children, the elderly, the handicapped and other special populations.
