Methods for Teaching Early Childhood and Elementary Physical Education

25 hours of Fieldwork required. This course examines relevant principles, methods and materials for teaching these specific age groups through teaching experiences. Includes methods for working with special populations and different ability levels. Students also learn about incorporating state and national standards into lessons and planning developmentally appropriate activities and content. Grade required for this course is equal to, or better than, a B.
