Description
This course explores how current technologies can be applied in early childhood and elementary classrooms to support learning in ways that are developmentally appropriate. Students consider the role of technology in the development and learning of children and explore the skills and knowledge children need to succeed in a digital world. Topics focus on the ways technology can be used as a tool to support learning and expand possibilities for instruction in the classroom. Students develop knowledge about current technologies through hands-on practice and reflection about the role of technology in the classroom.
