This course is an advanced level study of the craft of digital audio recording, including acoustic theory, musical proportion, digital theory, signal flow, and other studio considerations. Every student completes short weekly creative projects in digital audio, simultaneously learning different styles of composition and different technological configurations, including the tools to create and mix musical content in a modern Digital Audio Workstation. Students also learn strategies for success in an increasingly technological environment.
