This course provides an in-depth exploration of the archival principals of Appraisal, Arrangement and Description. Within a practical and theoretical framework students will consider how recent advances in technology provide opportunities for more dynamic and interactive tools for archival access. They will construct electronic finding aids, including Encoded Archival Description (EAD).
