Description
A detailed examination and analysis of the ways in which experimental inquiry approaches psychological questions. The problems and paradigms typical of the various areas of the field are studied, and experiments from the literature scrutinized. Particular attention is paid to potential sources of error and problems of control in different kinds of experiments and to the use of experimental design to minimize error. MA students will undertake an original research study to fulfill the laboratory requirement.
