Applied Geologic Reasoning: Geology of New York State

The geologic history of New York, with special emphasis on the New York City region as we currently understand it, is used as a platform for examining, in lecture, lab, and in the field, the evidence and logic that goes into elucidating the geologic history and completion of a geologic map, cross-section, and stratigraphic column.
