Environmental analytical chemistry is an instrumental methods-of-analysis course oriented specifically toward the needs of those concerned with natural waters, soils, sediments, and related media. Emphasis is placed on sampling, maintenance of sample integrity, and sample preparation for analysis. Modern spectrophotometric, electrochemical, and high-resolution chromatographic methods are used for the determination of organic and inorganic compounds in environmental media.This course has an M&T Fee.
