Evolution and Cultural Behavior

A lecture/ seminar course that examines several recent evolutionary theories associated with culture, i.e. behavioral ecology, evolutionary psychology, memetics, and biocultural coevolution. These theories are compared and assessed in seminars on current research, critiques, and application to human and animal cultures.
